During the year 2022, the number of workers hired at PURA FRUIT COMPANY was 6,665, of which 2,779 were women and 3,886 men, distributed in administration, field, packing and surveillance activities.
Production
Water is a fundamental resource for us and for the company’s agricultural activity; For this reason, proper water management is part of PURA FRUIT COMPANY’s environmental responsibility. As part of this, we have managed all the corresponding permits with the competent authorities to obtain authorization for the corresponding water use.
The annual consumption in m3 of water in the PURA FRUIT COMPANY fields during the year 2022 was 13,286,932 m3. Our water demand does not exceed the supply we have, thus generating a positive water balance that demonstrates the company’s efforts for the responsible consumption of this resource.
